Plant Burgers

Hearty and satisfying plant-based burgers made with beans and vegetables. These burgers hold together perfectly and are packed with protein and flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. 1. Mash the black beans with a bean masher until mostly smooth with some chunks remaining.
  2. 2. Add breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, and spices to the food processor and pulse until combined.
  3. 3. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties using a burger press.
  4. 4. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. 5. Cook burgers for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. 6. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
